Delta follows Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation methodology, aka “Sure Step Methodology”. The Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step Methodology is a comprehensive customer engagement methodology describing the processes and disciplines necessary to implement Microsoft Dynamics solutions.

 The methodology of Microsoft Sure Step is divided into the following phases:

Diagnostic

  • Analyze business processes and resources for a client

  • Assist the customer in the required diligence procedures, including the evaluation of requirements and solution fit

  • The assessment of resource requirements for solution delivery

Analysis

  • Analyze the existing business model

  • Finalize the document on functional requirements

  • Finalize the fit analysis

Design

  • Develop the functional design document, technical design document, and solution design document

  • Finalize the data migration plan

  • Define acceptance testing plan

Development

  • Finalize setup and configuration of the solution

  • Develop and finalize the customizations

  • Perform functional and feature testing

  • Develop the user training guide

Deployment

  • Configure the production environment

  • Migrate data to the production environment

  • Conduct user acceptance test of the system

  • Train users and finalize the user training guide

  • Conduct a go-live check and promote the system to production

Operation

  • Resolve pending issues

  • Finalize user documentation and knowledge transfer

  • Conduct a post-mortem of the project

  • Provide on-going support (activities that continue through any future involvement with the customer after the project is closed)
